What to Pack

Snails room (0-2 year olds)

  • Bottles enough for the day, these can be made up fully or with water in it ready for formula to be added
  • Sipper cup for water
  • 2-3 bibs and facewashers
  • Linen for their bed with a bottom sheet and a top sheet or wrap/sleeping bag and a small blanket for colder weather (great to pack in a pillow case with your child’s name on it)
  • Dummy/comforter
  • A wet bag for soiled items (if you don’t have one you can purchase one from us)
  • 6 nappies per day (what we don’t use we will put back in your bag)
  • Changes of clothes for accidents and weather
  • Depending on your child’s diet, a healthy lunchbox packed with an icebrick please, plus;
  • Breakfast (for those whom are at the centre between 7am and 7.30am)
  • Morning tea (fruit based, cut up fruit, puree)
  • Lunch (finger food, soft food, sandwich yogurt)
  • Afternoon tea (rice cakes crackers, sultanas, yogurt, cheese, veggie sticks but steamed not completely raw, these are suggestions only)
  • Broad brimmed hat for our toddlers to go outside and enclosed shoes with socks
  • If you pack everything in a two handled type material shopping bag (like you would take to the grocery shop not plastic) that would be appreciated
  • Please note no plastic bags to be packed inside bags at all as this is a hazard

Please pack an ice brick in your child’s lunch box daily.

Please note we are a Sun Smart Accredited centre, singlet tops, strappy tops are not acceptable, clothing should at least cover your child’s back, chest and shoulder area.

Safe enclosed shoes no thongs please.

Please label everything with your child’s name on it.

Caterpillars room (2-3 year olds)

  • 6 nappies per day or pullups/underpants. If toilet training (discuss with your child’s teacher)
  • A water bottle for water throughout the day
  • A broad brimmed bucket hat for outdoor time
  • A healthy lunchbox packed with an icebrick please, plus;
  • Breakfast (for those whom are at the centre between 7am and 7.30am)
  • Morning tea (fruit based, cut up fruit, puree)
